“ Totally lived up to our expectations! We went out of our way to visit the farm for some food and the Coo experience. We were greeted by a lovely lady who even offered a change of table when one with a nicer view was free. We had the best french toast we have EVER eaten (you can tell food is made with love!) and the Coo experience was very cute with the volunteer being super friendly. If you want to maximise your experience I would recommend booking the 9.30 visit however we did the 5 one and thought it was sufficient. We also thought it would be less busy although there were plenty of tables when we turned up around midday and food came by pretty quickly Would definitely recommend! ”
“ Once in a lifetime Highland Hairy Coo Experience! Amazing place to stay! We stayed one night at the B&B and had an amazing stay! Checkin and checkout instructions were super clear and so was parking. The bathrooms were a m a z i n g and they also had heated floors (!) which unfortunately we didn’t utilize (because it was summer). Bedroom was super cute and clean! Cows were of course super super and cute and we’d ever got special feeding time with them in the evening after other cow feeders had left! Breakfast was amazing! They made either a Scottish breakfast or French toast. They also brought out drinks, toast and anything else you ask for! They also asked us when we checked in what time we wanted breakfast. Although it was a cozy B&B, we never felt unsafe leaving our belongings while we went into town to explore or to dinner! There was also a baby cow born the morning we got there! It was adorable prancing around! ”
“ We stopped by Drumbuie Farm B&B and Quila Cridhe Tearoom on our last day in Scotland. We didn’t have a reservation, so unfortunately couldn’t do the afternoon tea (now we know to book ahead), but we did get to pay 5 each to meet the Highland coos, and THAT was amazing. The coos were so sweet, and there was even a baby coo! We got to feed them bread, which they happily gobbled up, and grabbed some cute photos. It was such a fun and memorable experience, especially since we hadn’t seen any coos yet during our trip. Even without the tea, we were really glad we stopped by. Totally recommend it if you’re in the area. ”
“ Highland coos and yummy food - the perfect combination. We did not leave a morsel of food from our afternoon tea experience. The coos were super popular so we had to wait a little bit before there was a clearing at the fence to feed them. The tearoom has become very popular so be sure to make a reservation. Didn't stay there so can't comment on the B&B. ”
“ I absolutely love this tearoom! The scones (directly out of the oven) are glorious, and the food is made-to-order and always delicious. I highly recommend the beauty & nae beast toastie! Staff is super friendly and Isla, the owner is an absolute gem. The view is stunning and the cows are the cutest. Definitely a place to stop by and visit! ”
“ We had a truly wonderful time at the farm! From the delicious food to the adorable cow-themed cupcake, every detail made the day feel special. Spending time with the cows—feeding them, playing with them, and just enjoying their gentle, friendly nature—was such a joy. A heartfelt thank you to Paul for his warmth and the fascinating insights he shared about the cows and the farm. The experience was not only fun, but also meaningful. We’re so grateful for the memories! ”
“ We spent two nights here during our road trip through Scotland and were absolutely thrilled. The rooms were super cozy and clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. For breakfast, you could choose between French toast and a full Scottish breakfast—both were absolutely delicious! The Highland cows were unbelievably cute – you could pet and feed them while learning about their family history and the cows themselves. You can really tell that everything here is done with a lot of love, and the cows are part of the family. We can highly recommend this B&B – it’s definitely worth a visit! ”
“ We went for an Afternoon Tea that also included a meet and greet with some Highland Coos. The food was delicious and very filling. Very friendly and chatty staff. Bonus points as my dog was also allowed to join us whilst we had lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting and feeding the cows a close up interaction that will stay with me for along time so thank you. ”
